Data on the carriers and racks may be taken from a central repository and associated with the location and identification system „tags“. In this way reliable information about the location of the tracked objects can be provided via OpenStreetMaps as well as on customer-specific map material.

An up-to-date transparency at any time about the whereabouts of the relevant materials including possible missing parts using location and identification enables the efficient supply to the production with a significant reduction of errors and waiting times. In combination with eLabels the status of the picked order can be presented directly on the shop floor.

The application enables an implementation of e-Kanban by monitoring objects in buffer areas. It can automatically load released production orders from a central ERP or MES and associates them with the location and identification system tags.
